This vegan, unisex gilet is ethically knitted using only natural, plant-based fibres of organic cotton and bamboo. Along the body of the garment runs a three-dimensional pattern which consists of a series of oblique lines. This pattern visually resembles and is inspired by the grooves and ridges of the oak tree bark. The nature-inspired weave enhances the yarn's brilliant colour ranges, from the darkest and lightest tones of blues and greys for our darker gilet, to the lightest blues for our lighter one.
This is one of our warmest and most elegant pieces. The gilet is elegantly framed at the bottom and around the arms with a thick rib which acts as a seal to keep the warmth in.
The organic cotton and bamboo yarn used to create this vegan garment is hand-dyed with low impact, non-toxic dyes. Due to the unpredictable nature of the dyeing process, every single gilet is completely unique and completely beautiful. For this reason, please be aware that there may be differences between the pictures and the delivered product. Send us a message if you would like to see pictures of the available gilets.
Used on top of a long sleeve shirt or layered under a blazer, this timeless piece of knitwear will keep you cosy and warm throughout the autumn and winter season.
Exclusively designed and ethically manufactured in small batches in the Midlands, UK, our knitwear is fully-fashioned to prevent yarn waste in the production process.
